Woke up this morning(that famous phrase........)to the news that Richard Manuel would have been 70 today.
So,decided the anniversary deserves to be marked by playing a mix of Basement Tapes and Big Pink music,reflecting the array of Richard's talents.
Shortly afterwards,saw the news that a CD will be released on 9/4/13 'Basement Tapes Influences'-Original versions of the Big Pink recordings.Bound be an eclectic mix.
Meanwhile,back to the Basement.............
