'lazy,meandering and awful'.......words used to describe Tempest in that reviewer's opinion. An equally appropriate description of that review......in my opinion.
Maybe some Dylan albums are worthy of such criticism.....maybe......Tempest isn't one of them.The journalist shoots himself in both feet in his opening paragraphs.
I have recently been impressed by articles written by the Culture Editor of The Telegraph online......fortunately he knows what he's talking about,unlike his colleague here.

I think you're right dagrab, the writer says Dylan hasn't done anything good since Planet Waves! Blood On The tracks, not even mentioned...

Ignoring Blood On The Tracks is a crime against Dylan.
Several lyrics from Idiot Wind come to mind.......not least ,the word 'idiot.'
